Version 1.1 changelog


Based on feedback I got on the original version there were a lot of stuff that needed change. Unfortunately I kinda jumped the gun by giving the original version 1 as it would be probably better to call it something like 0.1 and go up until I was comfortable calling it finished... but I didn't so now I will have to call the next version 1.1.

Now that being out of the way, here are the various changes to the playbook:

  • Abilities
    • Born of experiment
      • removed connection to trauma
      • gave more explanation of what it does
      • added ideas what the animalistic traits do
      • option to take it additional times for more permanent traits
      • removed vice
    • Nine lives
      • altered the "push yourself" part of the ability
    • Ghost herding
      • removed actions from it
    • Animal insticts
      • removed actions and tied it to gather information
    • Feel their pain
      • gives increased effect rather then dice
      • expanded on how they are received by the victim of abuse
    • Learned to endure it
      • changed "push yourself" to "pay 2 stress"
    • Fight of flight
      • free invoke of animalistic traits instead of +1d
    • Sudden mutation
      • removed the free invoke of animalistic trait
      • limited to only one additional trait
    • Beast's Rest
      • added vice that was originally in Born of experiment
  • Items
    • A fine disguise
      • increase of load to 1
    • Fine animal snacks
      • increased load
      • limited it to specific animal snacks
    • A muzzle and a collar
      • added lock to it
    • Vial of calming essense
      • specified it hinders physical activity instead of generic "gm wil alter position and effect"
    • Scent masker
